- Ioannina National Airport is about 3.4 km north-west. The city's urban operator, Astiko KTEL Ioannina, runs line 2 between the airport and the centre, ending at Stathmarcheio by Plateia Pyrrou, which is about 1.3 km from this station.

There is a taxi rank at the station, as well as at the airport and the main square. From the airport, Astiko KTEL Ioannina's line 2 runs to the centre and ends at Stathmarcheio by Plateia Pyrrou, which is a separate stop from the intercity station. Give yourself time to find the right urban stop rather than expecting an obvious transfer.
