KTEL Kos — Kos town to the airport, Mastichari for the Kalymnos ferry, Kefalos, Kardamena, Tigaki, Marmari, Pyli and Zia.
Routes are filed under the operator that runs them, so a bus INTO this area can live on another area’s page — Athens to Delphi, for instance, is a Fokida bus. If what you want is not below, search every area at once with the route finder.
A solid dot is a stop we can place with confidence. A hollow dashed dot is a position we only know to within a village — useful for orientation, not for walking directions. Tap any stop to see exactly where its coordinate came from.
On Kos you buy your ticket from the driver. The company says so itself, and as far as we can tell there are no online or e-tickets to look for. The same goes for tracking: no app that we could find, so if timing matters, phone the office.
The office is on Kleopatras street in Kos Town. The home page says number 7, while the contact page gives Kleopatras & Peisandrou, which is the same street. The phone is +30 22420 22292, with a second line on +30 22420 20263.
Opening hours are where the company's own pages disagree. The Greek pages say Monday to Saturday 08:15 to 21:00 and Sunday 09:30 to 16:30; the English home page says Monday to Friday 08:20 to 15:00. If the office matters to your plans, phone before you go.
The main KTEL station is behind the Old Town, roughly a 10-minute walk from the harbour. The city buses are a separate service and leave from a small waterfront station south of the harbour and the castle.
Check the airport timetable every time you travel, because the company warns it changes continuously. There are separate sheets for airport to Kefalos, airport to Kardamena, Mastichari to airport and the main airport route, so make sure you're reading the right one.
Buses run all year, with more services in summer, so ask at the office about your dates if you're travelling out of season.
The company lists these local numbers, which we haven't called:
Generated from this page’s own timetable data — every answer reads the same day-by-day calendar as the table above, so it can never say more than the page does.
The busiest starting point in this data is Kos town. Each route page lists its own departure point — cities with more than one terminal use them for different operators, and they are not interchangeable.
Departures on this page are confirmed day by day to Wed 25 Nov. After that the operators have not yet published, so this page cannot say what runs; check back nearer the time.
Published fares run from €2.50 to €5.50 depending on the journey. Routes with no published fare say so — a missing fare is never rendered as free.
