Finding it: KTEL Magnisias describes its terminal as sitting at the western entrance to Volos, where the Athens and Larisa provincial roads meet, about 1 km from the town centre. Unlike the railway station, the port and the central square, which sit together on the seafront, the bus terminal is a separate site out of the centre.

Getting to the station

From the town centre
The operator puts its terminal about 1 km from the town centre, at the western entrance to Volos where the Athens and Larisa roads meet. That is outside the seafront cluster where the railway station, the port and the main square sit together, so arriving by bus does not put you in the same part of town as arriving by train or ferry.
From the railway station
Volos's railway station is on the seafront beside the central square and the port, about 600 m from the bus terminal.
From the port
The passenger port, for ferries to the Sporades and Evia, is in the same seafront cluster as the railway station, about 600 m from the bus terminal.
From the airport
Nea Anchialos airport is about 20 km south-west. KTEL Magnisias runs its own transfer between this terminal and the airport, timed around flights. We hold no published timetable for it, so treat it as a service that exists rather than a time you can plan around.
