Positioned on the stop itself
The Chania to Rethymno coaches leave from the station at Kydonias & Partheniou Kelaidi, 73100 Chania. This is the intercity station. The town's own city buses are a separate service that leaves from 1866 Square in the centre, so check which one you want before you walk.
For information ring +30 28210 93052; the ticket office is on +30 28210 93306. The information line is answered from 06:45 to 22:30, but that's the phone, not the counter. The counter's own hours aren't listed on the company's English pages, so if you're counting on buying in person, phone first. There's also an email address, [email protected].
You can book online through the company's own booking service, and it asks passengers to book ahead to be sure of a seat. That's worth doing in high season rather than turning up and hoping. As far as we can tell there's no tracking app, only timetables and a departure board, so phone if you need to know where a bus is.
You can bring up to two pieces of baggage free, at your own risk.
The station has paid lockers for anything else:
The station will also send bags, bicycles and boxes on to places the buses serve. The Chania storehouse is on +30 28210 97497.
Children under 6 travel free. Pets up to 10 kg can ride in the passenger area in a carrier up to 50x40x35 cm; assistance dogs go whatever their size. The articulated buses on the Chania to Kolymvari run, and those in Rethymno town, have wheelchair entry. Phone +30 28210 93052 or email [email protected] to arrange it.
